so far so good

Totally loving "LOST" again. Back listening to my four podcasts per week, and if you're interested in learning more about that nerdy side of my life, feel free to shoot me an email. I'll point you in the right direction, yo.

I turned 32 on March 2nd. Ain't no thing.

I've been running twice a week in Prospect Park with my running class/club/cult/what have you. Tonight it was 15 degrees and we only went 3.4 miles. I wore a puffer jacket and lost about 10 pounds in sweat alone. I've met three new friends that I dutifully added to my clique on Facebook. Hurrah.

Scarny & I are throwing a birthday shin-dig on the 7th in the LES and hopefully the 42 individuals who RSVP'd YES will actually be there. (Except you, Caddy. I figured you won't be making it. Thanks for the YES, anyhow.)

I went through a break-up of sorts a few weeks ago. Whatever. Moving on.

I saw an odd stain on my ceiling today that I've never noticed before. I don't know if it's new or if I'm just suddenly prone to looking up.

Work is stress.

I thought I loved Chelsea Handler and bought all of her books ("all" meaning "two") but after a few chapters into "My Horizontal Life", I realized I didn't like the way she wrote her younger self as such a precocious sassafras and I stopped reading. I still like her in theory.

I want to write a vegan cookbook even though tonight's dinner will be dairy-laden and I haven't had a completely vegan week in I-don't-know-how-long.

I set a goal to watch (and blog about) 25 movies within the film noir genre. I've watched one ("Double Indemnity") and the first half of two others ("Gilda", "Sunset Blvd"). At this rate, I'll be done in 2011.

I miss my brother, who now resides in Beverly Hills.

I had forgotten how much I enjoy Cocoa Krispies until Sunday evening. Yummers!

Okay, that's all the stream of conciousness you get, fools. Time to get my "LOST" on. Hugs & kisses.

Friday, January 9: Successfully pulled off an hour-long presentation in front of 90 colleagues. Celebrated over wine at Moran's. Enchilada casserole later.

Okay, folks, I think you're relatively caught up.

okay, okay

So, here's the scoop. I know that someone from my office is reading my blog on a regular basis. (Yep! I know you're doing it!) I track this stuff, you see. However, I don't know who you are.

I know who it is not, but I know not who it is.

The truth: I am more likely to censor myself and/or not blog at all because of this, hence why I haven't written much of substance as of late.

So, hey. Listen. Tell me who you are and maybe I won't care what I write about and I'll happily continue to blog freely! Otherwise, maaaaaaan. I may have to move my blog to another undisclosed domain.

And that's that.

Oh, and by the way: Happy 29th to my bro.

so proud

I sort of cannot believe I haven't blogged the big news yet, but rest assured that it's only because I was terribly hurtin' yesterday after throwing an Obamarama Tuesday night.

He.

Actually.

Won.

I am so proud.
