kate moss just emailed me and said that she had heard there was a serial killer on the loose in new york. seeing as i read local blogs voraciously and hadn't heard anything (not to mention that i'm on top of anything that will potentially be 'ripped from the headlines' and made into a future "law & order" episode), i was a bit skeptical.

serial killer was told to me by word of mouth, supposedly some guy is playing a tape of a baby crying and when the victim comes to check on it, he kills them. it could be a lie, but would be slightly more interesting, though tragic, if it were real.
