my friend, marty, has informed me that the recipe for chow chow to which i linked was not authentic, as the recipe did not contain green tomatoes. sorry 'bout that.

there was a place in athens that used to offer fried green tomato sandwiches with sun-dried tomato cream cheese and omg, this shit was incredible. cripsy, creamy, salty, tangy, sweet, tart, doughy. nothing better!
