leaks.
...and the republicans called john kerry a flip-flopper? this loyalty to rove is so transparent, it's absurd.
from the ap:
Bush said in June 2004 that he would fire anyone in his administration shown to have leaked information that exposed the identity of Wilson's wife, Valerie Plame. On Monday, however, he added the qualifier that it would have be shown that a crime was committed.

You have to remember, Karl Rove created GW Bush. If you saw Bush when he lost his first campaign for Congress, you would understand that without Karl, Bush would have never been governor of Texas or President of the United States.
Even if Rove is convicted of a crime, count on Bush pardoning him. You can bet on that!

oh, i understand why g.w. is loyal: he's "bush's brain," "the architect," etc.
it's just laughable that the g.o.p. thinks it can get away with the loyalty, is all.
sadly, rove won't be convicted of anything.
