per kb's suggestion, i looked up where the local georgia-alums watch football in the city. found this place.
it looks rather frightening, but perhaps i should just suck it up? it would be sad to spend a whole season watching games alone in my apartment.

that place looks pretty inocuous and about half as scary as the rumpus room at the blind pig. I wouls so be there. also, it's never sad to be watching football. ever, except when your team loses.
yeah, i guess you're right. i'm not even going to ask kate moss to accompany me because i'm pretty sure she'd laugh. perhaps this is just something i (sigh) need to do on my own.

yeah, i contacted our local alum reps and they all wrote me back and said that i could accompany them to the bar for the first game. apparently, there are 200+ georgia alums who attend these things. caaaa-razy.
wow. 200 people are going to gather to watch Boise State upset the dawgs. sic em.
i'll be sure to bring my knitting needles!
