i'm embarrassed to say that, last night, i failed miserably at the gowanus yacht club trivia competition. out of 50 or so questions, i believe i answered a scant few correctly--if at all.

the one question that was driving me fucking nuts was to name the kubrick film that took place in 18th century europe. i thought, "god, it's something like 'barton fink'! i know it is!' and my team hadn't a clue, either. (it also happens to be the only kubrick film i haven't seen, i believe.)
