My boss, who is out of town for a week and is a reference of mine, just emailed me about hearing from the clinic coordinator from Iowa City:
The woman was very nice and I think I provided her with thorough answers to her inquiries. She seemed pleased with my responses, and I think if you want to live in Iowa......;) it would be an interesting position. Will give you more tidbits in person.This seems promising.
Meanwhile, I've decided I'd rather chew glass than take the job in Minneapolis (not because Minneapolis is not a fine city, which I'm sure it is, but I'm not too keen on the job description) or Valley Forge, so I've cancelled those interviews. I know I may be shooting myself in the foot, but really.
Chew glass.

I'm on pins and needles, Emma! If I get the job, I'm gonna throw myself a big housewarming party and invite a bunch of strangers, my new neighbors, my future farmer husband, and my friends from all over the country. Ha! Get ready!
