hey! this is unrelated, mostly - saw the caramelized brown butter rice krispie treats recipe in your sidebar, and i too swooned. but smitten kitchen tried it and PANNED it hardcore... just fyi!

Oh! Good to know. I'm having a potluck this weekend and a friend is bringing Rice Krispie Treats and I was going to suggest this recipe. Don't think I will now.

yeah, it sounded soooo delicious, so i was disappointed but glad to have the scoop. say, do you know of any websites like smitten or choc&zucchini that do healthy recipes?

Oh, I love Chocolate & Zucchini!

Many of my fave food blogs are listed on my old site: kissthehem.blogspot.com -- and one of the healthier ones is Fat-Free Vegan.

(I mean, could you get any healthier than fat-free AND vegan?!)

pumpkin spice rocks! i got some beans from fairway the other day. mucho deliciousness when paired with a little Silk half & half.

And using Silk half & half is a great way to easily reduce your dietary cholesterol and saturated fat intake, right?!

It's all about the simple substitutions, babe.

yes indeed. and applesauce makes a lovely replacement of all those artery-clogging death trap fats and oils!
