sadly, the agent and i have parted ways. don't wish to say much more than that.

in happier news, i have decided to grace the lovely peach state with my presence between the dates of april 28 and may 1. oh! to return to the land of taco stand!

this weekend was beautiful and glorious: ran three miles on saturday, got a sassy new haircut (i'm rocking long bangs now, folks), did some shopping at the greenmarket (purple carrots! blue peruvian potatoes! garlic chives!), watched "the future of food" on dvd, drank orange-infused vodka at mama's, ate yummy sushi with kate moss and her sister, had brunch with my brother (though, sadly, the bloody marys were sub-par), walked-walked-walked all over the city and enjoyed the sunshine! i had forgotten how much i love sitting on the east river promenade with a whole wheat bagel and a cup of coffee and the times. even got a bit of a burn on the right side of my neck. my skin hasn't seen real sun in some time.

in the happiest news of all, scarny is about to become a full-fledged resident of our lovely city. can. not. wait.
