island time
my friends...
greetings from the #1 rated tennis resort in america (according to tennis magazine)! unfortunately, i do not play tennis.
it's beautiful here. i'll post pictures later, but as it is, i had to bike 2 miles to get internet access and i'm just not up to hanging out here in the resort market all day. suffice it to say, i've been taking long walks on the beach, riding more on a bike than i have in a decade, eating very well (and very poorly), enjoying the cicadas and the humidity, sunning myself by the pool, swimming in the surprisingly warm ocean, watching a magical fireworks display on the beach, attempting to dodge alligators and deer, and dreading my return to the concrete jungle that is new york.
speaking of which, i got a call from a major hospital in atlanta and they want to interview me for a major position on monday. next monday. the tenth. because i had a layover planned in atlanta on saturday, i'm just extending it and sticking around in the atl from saturday until monday. of course, i only have beach clothes with me and thus, i'll be hitting up somewhere to buy a suit for this impromtu meeting with the head of marketing. wish me luck.
you can't plan everything, i guess. (one would think i would have learned this by now.)
hope all is well on your end. wish you were here.
xoxo
with love,
jen

wassup, hater?
ps= the above interview was displayed lovingly. Kick as in the interview, cuz. But, if you don't move to Atlanta shortly, get ready for the wassups...and that isn't a bad thing, either.
f.a.y.h.
