you are what you eat, high school teacher extraordinaire

Occupation: High school teacher extraordinaire, graduate student

Relationship status: I got a woman

Location: Athens, Ga.

What did you eat yesterday?

Brunch: Biscuits with yeast gravy, soysage and cheese grits from The Grit

Snack: Diet Coke, some black olives and a piece of mixed grain bread from the Luna Baking Company

Dinner: Two house margaritas on the rocks with salt, a Burrito Vallarta (shrimp, rice and vegetables) and chips and salsa from Taqueria La Parilla

Post-dinner: Several Master cylinder PBRs and a couple of smaller PBRs

What do you never eat? Beets

In my refrigerator, you can always find: Soy milk, jars of pickles, tortillas, shredded mozzarella, assorted vegetables, ketchup, mustard and bbq sauce

In my freezer, you can always find: Tater tots and Boca burgers

What is your favorite kitchen item? Hmmmm, this is difficult. Probably my cast iron skillet.

Where do you eat out most frequently? Taqueria La Parilla and Rusan's

World ends tomorrow. What would you like for your last meal? Umm, pussy? The best would be Soto's (RIP) 17 course prix fixe dinner once again. I'd settle for a good brunch from East West Bistro, Carroll Street Café or Essex (Manhattan) with about three spicy Bloody Marys made with Absolut Peppar. I would also settle for Red Lobster, Chicken Comer's bbq in Columbus or wings from Hooters or Pollo Criollo (RIP). And my dinner would have to be served by the former wait staff at Pollo Criollo.
