i think it depends on one's place/time in life. in athnes, for a while, i was location-bound. I'm now more career-bound - ie, i'm willing to move to des moines for the right job, but not any place smaller or colder than des moines. i just cant deal with bitter cold - or interminable rain or clouds, so no pacific northwest or san fran for me. i suspect when i have some babies, location will matter a bit more than an awesome job - but ideally, of course, i'll have both!

Personally, I have elected to stick with location. After a little bit of wandering, I am home.
Unless I am offered a job in London or Italy. :)
i'm only bound by the limitations of my own imagination/insanity. characteristics that have proven to be pretty damn limiting actually.
