Kate Moss thinks the state is trying to use me to do their work for free!
Dear Jennifer,
I am pleased to inform you that you are one of the candidates we wish to continue interviewing for the position of Epidemiology Program Specialist at the Office of Epidemiology, XXX Department of Health and Welfare.
Because we have had an unusual number of strong applicants, we have decided to add an intermediate step to the process before inviting the final two candidates to interview on site.
We are asking candidates at your stage in the interviewing process to complete the attached exercise relevant to the Epidemiology Program Specialist position and return the response to XXX by 5:00 PM MST, Tuesday, October 31, 2006.The State of XXX is trying to reduce the Division of Public Health's budget. The Division Administrator has asked for justification for the Division to continue to pay for drugs for treatment of active tuberculosis. Create a one page memo to the Division Administrator that includes a persuasive argument describing why the Division should continue this practice, and create a PowerPoint presentation on the same subject for the Division Administrator and higher level Departmental administrators.
Thank you for your continued interest in working with the Office of Epidemiology.

is this the iowa city job? i met someone for you to hang out with there - she's in law school and actually used to work with scarnsworth at cnn! (she's the best friend from college of the fiancee of one of my good friends from college.)
This is pretty common in today's job world. Give some one an actual task and see how they handle it. I had to complete a couple of exercises like this to get my current job.
whoa, do i know her?
her name is katie. she is tall and blonde and looks a little like katherine heigel. she said she worked on the morning show with you.
This isn't for Iowa -- it's for another state...
