commencement

It's my last night in my apartment -- and this is the view from my fire escape.

I've had many a smoke out there and never did plant that garden like I said I might. I've been awoken every morning by honking and sirens. I've made friends with the owners of the Thai restaurant downstairs.

And the pizzeria.

And the wine store.

Y'know, all of the places that you would think to find me.

I won't miss the size (or lack thereof) of this place, which KB remarked was "like a caricature of a New York apartment". Indeed. 'Twas a good first New York apartment, however.

I'm pretty sure that it won't be my last.

Oh, and Thanksgiving was amazing: food, family, and friend photos on Flickr.

(And despite the hatin' on Mars 2112, I had a fantastic last day of work on Wednesday, and spent the wee hours of the evening drinking too much with the former co-worker, J, and probably being a wee bit too crazy. But, y'know, that's how we roll.)
