cluck cluck
the day has finally arrived when i throw caution to the wind and begin thinking about my old friend, the chicken -- and how i want to eat him again.
i haven't a clue how to prepare chicken. i've always been told that my first venture back into chicken-eating (save for a bite here or there, usually while intoxicated and brave) should be at chik-fil-a. well, that ain't gonna happen this weekend, so...
any ideas? i think i'd actually like to prepare it with my own two hands. does anyone out there have a favorite recipe?

don't do it. google how chickens are mistreated by the meat industry before succumbing to the temptation.
oh and you are probably half the reason i'm vegetarian, so don't let me down.
Fuck "anonymous". Don't cook it first. Go eat some wings, or have chicken for brunch at essex. Chick-fil-a ain't bed either, but wings are the fucking clue. And tell mr/ms. greenpeace to go protest against the whaling industry or something. assholes!
i agree with carl. the whaling industry are assholes.

now, now, boys. do i need to go get a ruler?
;)
this wasn't meant to spark an ethical debate, ALEX. (besides, i've been letting you down since 1994, so why stop now?)
Eat it in a restaurant first. I disagree about the wings though, I'm personally still squeamish about the whole bones thing.
I gave in during grad school. And I'm glad.
I even voluntarily ate beef short ribs back in May.
That, however, I regretted. Urp.
i might eat some short ribs if i had 'em at babbo. i can't leave nyc without partaking in some REAL fine dining...
sellouts.
I never care about the bones. They even make it more interesting for me. I've gone back to not eatin meat very regularly (like once a week), but I think it's cool once in a while. Eating meat at every meal isn't a great idea, but I don't have ethical reasons that prohibit me from eating chicken or beef. Perhaps I should, but I don't.
