This is food-related, and should probably be posted here, but, y'know, whatever! It's Friday, and I'm feeling sassy.
These cookies, folks, are the BEST. Mother's Taffy Sandwich Cookies. Mmmmm. I had completely forgotten about them until today, when I encountered them on a random food blog. I haven't had even a nibble of one in probably 15 years, but I can still remember how they taste.
I believe they're only available in California, but I'm contemplating an online purchase.
If you live in California, you must try them. Please. Then you must email me and tell me all about your experience! I'm off to try to find a recipe to recreate them... and if I succeed, I'll photograph them and then stick the pics up on my other site.
Oh, and Kate Moss is in ATH for the weekend -- so if you see her, tell her I send my love from NYC.

taffy and cookie? that sound gross.
Despite it's misleading name, it doesn't taste like, say, salt-water taffy. Or Laffy Taffy. Or something of that nature. It's more of a molasses-vanilla cookie with a hint of coconut. I'm telling you: YUM.
