I did, indeed, get the job -- and got more money than I had anticipated. So, there you go. Will be living AND working in Brooklyn come 2007.

It all worked out.

(I do want to tell J this news -- but won't -- and the less contact we have, of course, the more I realize how much a part of my life he'd become. It's almost as if we broke up before we had the chance to attempt dating. So, J, if you're reading this, I got it.)
