personal statement

As I am gearing up to begin LSAT prep courses and have been retrieving letters of recommendation, I am still working on my personal statement.

I asked Scarny for some assistance in the matter.

Dear school,

It is with great pleasure that I pen this letter to inform you of my intent to matriculate to your much lauded academy. All of my life I have pondered the difference between right and wrong, the thin blue line between lawful and unlawful. Years ago when my mother read to me from the Old Testament and I heard the story of Adam's sons Cain and Abel and their fratricide, I've been beset with a burning desire to defend the weak who are savaged upon by the mighty. Please congratulate me in joining your much heralded institution.
